A NOTE ON THE NUMBERS

Good data. Real context.

This independent explorer uses 1,383 city records collected from Nomads.com. Credit for the source data belongs to Nomads.com.

A snapshot, not a live feed

Costs, visa flags and conditions may have changed. Temperature, humidity and air quality describe conditions at collection; they are not annual climate averages.

Different ways of living

Nomad, expat, local and family estimates are distinct fields supplied by the source. Rent and coworking are separate measurements; we do not add them to or subtract them from those estimates.

Real places in the explorer

The original 1,383-record download includes nine novelty entries in the source’s “Space” region. These are preserved in the original JSON and excluded from the explorer, leaving 1,374 terrestrial places.

Missing data stays missing

Unknown values are marked “Not available.” Filters exclude missing values only for the measurements you select. Source values are preserved, including unusual cost estimates; these are flagged for checking.

Scores are a starting point

Safety and inclusion ratings are source assessments, not guarantees. A reported remote work visa is a discovery signal; check the destination’s current requirements before making plans.
